ELIGIBILITY AND APPLICATION

Our project seeks innovative proposals aligning with our overarching goals and objectives. We're interested in activities promoting digital technology adoption and enhancing customer service. Proposals should address specific business issues, propose feasible tech solutions, and have a well-structured budget. Sustainability, job creation, and contribution to Grenada's ICT/Digital sector enhancement are key considerations.

An eligible entity must:

  • Accept the terms and conditions as associated with the call for proposals.

  • Present all documentation required by the call for proposals (example certified copy of business registration certificate, a business plan, NIS, TAX, completed application).

  • Agree to provide all of the information required by the program for its monitoring activities and for evaluation of results and impact audits performed by the Program Administration or those hired to do so.

  • Agree to take part in the program’s visibility campaign.

Eligibility and Application: Prospective participants are required to complete the initial eligibility criteria application questionnaire below:

Those who qualify will then undergo a technology adoption training program, lasting about four months. During the training, candidates will be invited to apply for the grant, with successful applicants potentially receiving up to XCD 10,000.00.

Who Can Apply?

Eligible entities include private sector businesses registered in Grenada with majority ownership by Grenadian citizens. Partnerships with other businesses are allowed, with the lead organization being Grenada-registered. Businesses from all sectors are eligible, but proposed projects must focus on technology adoption to improve core business, product, or operations.

What Type of Projects Can Be Considered?

The Project Proposal MUST:

  • Meet the definition of a Non ICT and ICT enabled Project fitting into one or more of the following categories (product upgrade, process upgrade, marketing and organizational process upgrades).

  • Have Commercial application and sustainability, including environmental and social sustainability and inclusion;

  • Able to be completed within the timeframe specified in the call for proposals parameters.

What Activities Can Be Funded?

The following expenditure can be financed under the grant:

  • Investment in equipment that is directly related to the implementation of the proposed project as defined in the business plan.

  • Consultancy services, website development, specialized technical assistance, and services necessary for the successful completion of the activity identified for funding.

  • Purchase of software, software licenses, software upgrades, software development, or any other related software costs.

The following WILL NOT be funded using fund resources:

  • Investment in equipment that are not directly related and critical to the proposed project..

  • The purchase of real estate or vehicles not used in the direct operations of the organization

  • Construction or purchasing of facilities

  • To liquidate debts (including taxes and duties).

  • Operating expenses Cash payments from the dedicated project account

  • Payment of interest charges on loans

  • Entertainment and hospitality expenses

  • Any expenditure with a negative impact on the livelihoods of people and the environment.

  • Other expenses are not directly related to the implementation of the proposed project.
